Description

Mathaswentha is a Gothic princess, and love interest for Martin Padway. She was the daughter of Amalswentha, queen of the Ostrogoths from 526 to 534, who was imprisoned on an island in Lake Bolsena. Her brief romance with Padway is cut short when she decides, to Padway's horror, to have any competition killed. Padway sets her up with Urias, whom she marries.
