| Description | Mike Seeger (1933-2009): Folk and old-time country musician. The song of Charles Seeger, half-brother of Pete Seeger, and full brother of Peggy Seeger, he is most famous for his work with the New Lost City Ramblers. He also did significant work on his own, however, performing on a wide variety of instruments, and did much collecting of old-time country songs. He died in 2009 of cancer. |
