Roast chestnuts as you get them everywhere here in October. Not burned on the inside, but you get black fingers

That's how the chestnuts are traditionally roasted, in special pans with little holes over open fire.

A Waalweg (Waal is the artificial water channel used for watering the vines/apple trees). They are everywhere, some quite high up, very popular with the tourists.

This is just the effect of a watering fountain, but it looked nice and I wanted to share it
