Seed Saving

This group has become officially dormant. It happens. If you want to revive this group, or create a new group on the same topic, see this page.

Devoted to the collecting and growing out of open-pollinated, heritage and heirloom varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers.

The art of gardening should not be ego-centric - seeds do not know who grew them but that they are alive and survive to be passed on to the next generation is one of the miracles of nature. You have in your hands the result of the collected wisdom of growers long since past, plant breeders and patient, observant gardeners.

Don't betray the trust put in you by these gardeners - plant their seeds, grow them well and save some for future generations. Good luck!
