When a group of college friends takes a trip to Central California for a research project, they are hoping for a few days of sun and relaxation.

But the small town of Pueblo Escondido, nestled in the quiet hills of wine country, is not what it appears. Deep beneath a local quarry, something ancient has woken up.

Now the group finds itself trapped between creatures that defy reason and townspeople who no longer seem entirely human. Trying to survive, they realize that whatever crawled out of that quarry has no intention of staying in Pueblo Escondido.

It has much bigger plans.
