Bellevue Literary Press is devoted to publishing literary fiction and nonfiction at the intersection of the arts and sciences because we believe that science and the humanities are natural companions for understanding the human experience. We feature exceptional literature that explores the nature of perception and the underpinnings of the social contract. With each book we publish, our goal is to foster a rich, interdisciplinary dialogue that will forge new tools for thinking and engaging with the world.

To us, books are more than just words on a page. A book is just like people, with a diverse selection of types, subjects, attitudes and opinions. We’ve been reading since we could remember, entertained as children, informed as young adults, and inspired even today. We love books, and always have. Despite having every form of electronic entertainment available today, we still read books avidly, as a comfort, a form of relaxation, and a way to learn more about the world around us.
Bigfoot Robot Books was formed out of that passion for the printed word. Like anybody, we all have stories to tell, and just as passionately, we want to read stories from others. That’s why we created this publishing house, to share the words that inspire us, that entertain us, and that make us smile, cringe or ponder.
Sharing the thoughts and creativity of people is at the heart of our mission statement, so beyond books we will offer other forms of entertainment, including an active Blog by authors, a selection of podcasts and other interesting and thought provoking content.
Our books will never fall into a single genre. We are open to a wide range of authors, subjects, genres and opinions. We can’t publish everything that is submitted, but we will always try to maintain diversity throughout our titles.

Espresso Publishing House is a boutique literary imprint dedicated to foreign-language fiction that merits an English-language life. We look for works that are legally available, commercially interesting, and — above all — genuinely worth reading: novels with literary ambition, historical depth, and the capacity to surprise readers who encounter them for the first time.
We do not republish existing translations. Each Espresso edition is a new translation made directly from the original-language source text, prepared specifically for a contemporary English-language audience. We care about the quality of the translation, the design of the book, and the framing that helps readers understand why they are holding something worth their time.

In bringing books from other countries to English-speaking readers, we offer captivating, thought-provoking works with beautifully-designed covers and high production values. We scour the globe looking for the best stories, knowing that only a fraction of the books published in the United States each year are translations. That leaves a lot of great literature still to be discovered.
At New Vessel Press, we believe that knowledge of a multitude of cultures and literatures enriches our lives by offering passageways to understand and embrace the world. We also regard literary translation as both craft and art, enabling us to traverse borders and open minds. We are committed to books that offer erudition and enjoyment, that stimulate and scintillate, that transform and transport.
And of course, what matters most is not where the authors hail from, or what language they write in. The most important thing is the quality of the work itself. And hence our name. We publish great books, just in a new vessel.

Rootstock Publishing is an innovative, hybrid partnership publishing company that collaborates with authors, whom we think of as the rootstock—the primary source. We are not unique, modeling ourselves after other relatively new, non-traditional hybrid publishing-partnership houses that have met with success for many new writers.
We seek writers who want more control over their work, who seek higher earnings per book sold, and who are willing to invest toward that end. But just as important, we seek authors who have solid marketing ideas about their book, who understand their audience(s), and who are willing to self-promote and work hard to publicize and market their book.

Running Wild Press grew out of a desire to share stories that break barriers. We believe that great stories don’t fit neatly in a box.
