Early Reviewers
She pushed against convention and lived in the very countries that crushed her rebellious spirit. For career and love. On purpose.
Elise Krentzel is twenty-five years old, back from five years inside Tokyo's music industry, where she rose to acclaim as the youngest bureau chief for Billboard Magazine and talent scout introducing punk rock. Upon her return, she finds herself a stranger in her own country. She wants to build something across borders, in languages not her own, in a world that has no category for a woman like her.
Over two decades, six countries and two marriages, she will build, lose it all and rebuild. She pays for her choices with everything she has. And when the life she constructed finally collapses, she will find that what survives is the only thing that was ever truly hers.
Fierce. Funny. Entirely true.
The follow-up to the Amazon #1 memoir Under My Skin — Drama, Trauma & Rock 'n' Roll.
