Born to Nigerian immigrants, Peace’s early experiences as a cross-cultural kid planted the seeds for her future bridge-building work. After earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh, she spent 15 years repairing broken bodies—only to discover her deeper calling: repairing broken bonds. In 2018, she launched her nonprofit organization, The Gathering Place Philly, a community engagement initiative to promote healthy neighborhood flourishing through ministry and the arts. Soon after, she introduced its flagship program, Dinner & Discussion, gathering strangers from different races, faiths, and political perspectives around the table to break bread and break barriers—demonstrating the power of presence to release cultural restoration. Today, she leads Set the Table, equipping leaders, teams, and communities to restore trust and cultivate reconciliation, while also empowering believers to engage the world with wisdom, grace, and confidence.
