
In 1897, Sperry and Hutchinson introduced the stamp design shown elsewhere [click on S&H on the left of this page to see], but rather similar to the Australasia stamp above, which was an S&H company. Many other companies imitated their stamp design and ten examples are shown here. The Manhattan Company was actually a S&H owned company. It is likely the Bermuda stamp company was also a S&H subsidiary.
