
Susan Smith is a member of the Muslim Peace Fellowship and Community of Living Traditions at Stony Point Center, where she engages in community outreach, interfaith dialogue, and collaboration for peace through justice. She has an international background in conflict resolution, interfaith dialogue, advocacy, multi-faith residency, humanitarian relief, administration, and Islamic school leadership. In her spare time, she hosts “Ferguson to Palestine”, a Vassar College radio program on social justice issues in the United States and abroad; and is a fellow with the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative (MuslimARC), an organization addressing intra-Muslim racism and Islamophobia. Since 2014, she has been involved in refugee crisis activities in the Middle East and New York. She has a Masters Diploma in Middle East Studies from the American University in Cairo and Masters Degree in Educational Counseling and Development from Long Island University.
