- About My Library
A work in progress - I started LibraryThing back in 2011.
A computer failure, loss of login details, etc., caused me to abandon the project for over a decade. A saved bookmark recently reawakened my interest, and in December of 2023, with the assistance of a friendly Helper at LibraryThing, I regained access to my account.
I have a strong affinity for Buddhism and am interested in its history, how it spread into what is present-day Afghanistan and Pakistan, reached China, Korea, and Japan, and eventually arrived in America, or as Rick Fields called it in a book titled “How the Swans Came to Lake.”
I am interested in travel literature, mainly limiting myself to the time up to the Second World War.
