About My Library
I've got an eclectic library of gay fiction and nonfiction, books on classical music, some travel guides, dictionaries, an atlas or two, a box of maps, and thousands of CDs. My music library is mostly classical orchestral music, with a smattering of country, pop, musicals and film soundtracks, folk, and others. I love collecting obscure instrument concertos and classical music from Australia and New Zealand that isn't easily available in the U.S. (I buy a lot of it online from Australian and New Zealand sources). I also get a fair number of interesting used CDs on eBay. Unfortunately there really isn't a great used CD store in Seattle comparable to places like Amoeba Records in Berkeley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles or other big used stores I've been to in Portland, Or. and elsewhere.
About Me
I'm a cataloger at the University of Washington Libraries in Seattle, Washington. I'm a big classical music buff (mostly late 19th-21st century symphonic music) and a figure skating fan, a country/western dancer, a lover of food and exotic wildlife. My A.B. is in biology from Cornell and my M.L.I.S. is from UC Berkeley.
