About My Library: Consists of my work library (see above), good modern fiction, some classics, run of the mill crime fiction and speculative fiction that ranges from the truly shocking to the superior.
About Me: I'm a historian of science with particular interests in early modern astronomy and cosmology, scientific instruments, history of the book, historiography, and history of collecting, museums and display. The work section of my library also reflects some of more general teaching: early modern European history, the science and technology of warfare (formerly), and media history (recently).
