Amity Doyle lives in British Columbia, Canada, where she enjoys an active lifestyle focused on balance within the realities of everyday life.

Her first book, The Old-Fashioned Way to a Life Chock-Full of Vim and Vigour, reflects her belief that healthy living should fit into real life—not require perfection, expensive programs, or endless willpower.

Her approach is a response to a world of quick fixes, extreme challenges, and constantly changing advice that often fades as quickly as it appears. Instead, she believes healthy habits are built slowly by moving in the right direction, one step at a time.
