Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia (BCANS) is a survivor driven group formed in 1994. The women and men who make up BCANS are those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives or those who have had family member diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast Cancer Action Nova Scotia (BCANS) is an organization of survivors and supporters that focuses on the concerns and needs of those affected by breast cancer through support, education, networking and advocacy.
