About meI am by nature a generalist who seeks a broad expanse of knowledge, with passions for architecture, the arts, history, and philosophy. I fancy myself a Renaissance man and ambitiously aspire to be a polymath.

About my libraryI seek to build a scholarly gentleman's library, with which to cultivate the mind and to entertain visitors, as well as educate children. Presently, my collection is largely composed of a reference/general education library, with a smattering of literature on the side, and a separate sub-library for the culinary arts (mostly cookbooks).

From a collections standpoint, I distinguish books in my "permanent collection" from those I haven't decided yet whether they merit permanent inclusion in my curated main library (basically, non-accessioned books). Thus I own or possess substantially more books than are actually listed here, and won't necessarily go to the trouble of cataloging them.

I also have added a few select digital books that are particularly dear and that I rely upon (and consider a part of my curated library), but for which I do not have a physical copy.
