- This book is a great book to help students understand the abstract math concepts of million (2), billion (2), and trillion. (2), but it is a classic. A funny read that once children hear or read themselves will want to experience the story over and over again. (1), Pippi Longstocking is put is an orphan who decides school isn't right for her. She moves into a raggedy house next to Annika and Tommy and the three become inseparable. Pippi shows them how to have the wildest adventures in your own home.
