We have a reading room, and it is free to visit and view the library during our open hours. We are open on Wednesdays from 9-4 and on the first two Saturdays of each month from 10-3.

The Boxford Historic Document Center was founded as a part of Boxford's Bicentennial celebrations in 1976, the Boxford Historic Document Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, preserve, and make accessible a collection of archival materials that document the history of Boxford, Massachusetts. This collection is comprised of materials from the town's 17th century beginnings through the present. The purpose of the Center is to ensure that Boxford's history is known and valued.
