- In my 40's, I am a born-again reader. I admittedly escape my life as mom, wife and elementary school para, in a good book. It is my reward, more than any chocolate. I can quickly determine if a book motivates me to "earn" more reading time...or if it's great enough to forget my real life, keep reading and punish myself for it later.
