Member CHShort

The Charleston Horticultural Society (CHS Hort) was organized in December 1999 as a resource for horticulturalists. Their goals were to educate, support efforts to create beautiful, sustainable green spaces, and to preserve the legacy of horticulture in the South Carolina Lowcountry. The community has grown, and now offers myriad educational outreach programs, including a lecture series, garden tours, seasonal workshops, and of course, an extensive library.

Found at the Hort's office at 46 Windermere Blvd, the library collection contains over one thousand books on everything one could ever need to know about gardening. From seed propagation to flower arranging, soil care to design techniques, this library has it all.
