My library includes a lot of classic pulp fiction such as Chandler, Hammett, Burroughs (the real one, as in Edgar Rice), Howard and Lovecraft as well as many works on the history and culture of the martial arts, Gaelic and Celtic culture, Taoism, Shaktism and other obscure religious and mystical traditions.

I'm a writer and historical swordsmanship instructor with several books published on topics such as martial arts, history, paganism and urban fantasy. I'm also the president of the Cateran Society, a group that studies the use of the Highland broadsword and other Scottish weapons.
