I read primarily fiction and any non fiction book that catches my interest. I'm usually about 2 years behind in getting my books into LibraryThing, unfortunately.

I worked in a public library, so I rarely buy any books except for reference books and Kindle books. I started keeping track of books I read in 2004, and books I wanted to read (prompted by a subscription to RT Book Reviews) in 2006. I use LibraryThing to keep a searchable database of books I've read by tag. My own list is searchable by author only.
My daughter has a Masters degree in Information and Library Science, and my son is teaching himself to program. My husband's retired from IBM and is a dedicated runner.
