- This Choc-o-lit Chick originally aspired to be a princess; all childhood pictures as such show me in a filthy, torn dress with mud smeared on my face wielding some sort of weapon that could take out an eye. Consequently, I devour life at a delicious pace and am a tad bit sassy about it. Mach 10 with my hair on fire is my usual speed, but I always manage to find time to slow things down and dive into the entertainment of escape, especially if it involves a book.
In order to continue my reading obsession and take others along for the ride, I turned to teaching language arts and make it my mission in life to convert as many people as possible to the power of the Force…of literature. Along with reading, I love movies, TV shows, traveling…pretty much anything that has everything to do with pop-culture and the realm of escape.
