"My" library is actually owned by a university department. They have asked us to consult with them to improve their subject access to their resource room. We are working on their cataloging system (planning to use Library Thing) and helping them to set up policies and procedures for the use of their collection, in order to improve its usability. I will hopefully transfer "ownership" of the DHM collection to DHM during the fall semester.

I am a librarian at Oklahoma State University. I'm working on a project to upgrade the library owned by the Department of Design, Housing & Merchandising at Oklahoma State University.
