- I've been collecting books for almost ten years. They make a nice addition to any room. I try to keep books from the same publisher together so there is a little aesthetic continuity. However, I've all but stopped purchasing books now that two closets (and possibly a third) have become makeshift annexes. I have only a handful of nice editions, but that doesn't bother me too much. I would say my collection is strong in literature, but there are nice smatterings of history and reference throughout.
