About Me
David Jacobson was born in Kimberley, South Africa. A sociologist, he was trained at the London School of Economics and Princeton University. His most recent book is Of Virgins and Martyrs: Women and Sexuality in Global Conflict, a culmination of over five years of research and writing, including travel across numerous countries. He lives in Tampa, Florida, with his family.
