Regarding the auction, Lynch's daughter Jennifer Lynch posted to Reddit: "[k]eep in mind, his auctioned library is missing the books his children and granddaughter took. This is still an amazing collection, but I did not want anyone to be mislead into thinking this was a complete collection."
