My collection includes works by/about ancient Greek and Roman poets, satirists, tragedians; European literature from Beowulf thru present, with emphasis on Dante, Shakespeare, Milton, Dickens, and Joyce; American literature from early Romantic period thru present, with emphasis on Melville, Hemingway, Pynchon, and the Beats; works of science fiction, noir, horror, film history, music (mostly jazz, prog rock, 1980s-era punk), Chicago history, and many, many anthologies.
