- About My Library
- Eclectic! Learning about almost anything is a passion of mine. Favorite subjects include the arts, medicine and health (especially psychiatry/psychology and medical anthropology), sociology and foreign cultures (fiction and non-fiction, particularly Asian cultures - Lisa See is one of my favorite authors), business (marketing and sales are favorite subjects), and any book about animals and communication/bonding between animals and humans (I admit that cats are a favorite subject!).
More mainstream book interests include travel (travelogues), history, mysteries, thrillers, literary fiction, some science fiction, biographies, popular culture, all sciences...I'm not sure that any book type is NOT represented to some extent in my personal library! - About Me
- I am a physician (with a background in business, international marketing, and sociology) currently concentrating on helping others by serving as a medical consultant. I also design and make (mostly beaded, wirework, polymer and metal clay) jewelry.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, mentoring others, teaching (on an informal basis), and making up silly stories involving cats and other animals (anthropomorphic tales). - Location
