Predictable (1), but the plot kept me interested to the ending. No doubt it's mass produced. (1), unless you groove on social classes and social/political conventions (1), Beautifully written and entertaining handling of an embarrassing subject (1), Started 1.22.17 -- 22 discs! Powerfully written (1), if a bit confused (1), account of racism and hate in Los Angeles at the opening of world war 2. Impressive (1), but I don't think I'll be interested in the next two volumes of the LA war trilligy (1), good story. -- entertaining to the end -- good female protagonist (1), A fascinating cultural history of the area before and east of "So Brief a Frontier: Details are heavily documented -- quite impressive to me (1), Some of the writing is almost embarrassing (1), Some very compelling storytelling (1), Amazing writing. To the point of pain here and there for the reader. (1), and a "page turner" in places (1), but also rather over the top with details for Sherlock fans (1), Entertaining with some good plot twists and a believable female protagonist. The sex is pretty sloppy and over the top. (1), but a reasonably good detective story and rather entertaining (1), I didn't get this at all. Maybe I need to try an earlier of the highly rated series. (1), no record kept (1), but I'f read at least part of it. The voice is that of an embryo I checked it out the second time but decided another listen was too too much. (1), Couldn't handle it -- Death camp where a million died and a suicide. (1), Different. I Liked (1), Horribly boring (1), A little on the weird side for me (1), Beautifully written (1), forgettable. Didn't enjoy it. (1), sophomoric writing (1), Atone (1), Gave it up as scatterbrained 3-15ths of the way thru (1), Heavy but beautifully written. (1), Witty but a little boring (1), didn't enjoy it. Forgettable (1), Too much of "an in" book for me to enjoy but I'll try another Carolyn Hart sometime (1), I thought maybe this was a little too Christian (1), but not so. And it caused to pick up another by Sue Monk Kidd. It was a well-told story (1), I didn't expect to enjoy this new Jance story (1), but it is a good story anyway. (1), but I did although I found it pretty predictable. (1), A Port Angeles - Olympic park history to me. I enjoyed it though some seemed unpleasant (1), but I didn't like the characters that much. Suppose that's the way with James (1), Not my favorite Laurie King story (1), but I suppose I enjoyed it. (1), Long and detailed. Colorful Anglo-Ulster (1), Tight and strong and thus a bit confusing West country Ireland (1), too much LA society for me (1), plot was a little far fetched (1), I think this was her best. It came BEFORE "Obit" (1)
