Resources for the independent home builder focused on natural materials, energy efficiency and sustainability.

ECABC is a service organization in PA designed to educate the public and promote more environmentally friendly building practices. The center is dedicated to learning about many aspects of natural building, as well as demonstrating alternative building technologies appropriate to this region. Activities include hands-on workshops in straw-bale construction, working with local code officials, research to explore the limitations of natural building alternatives, and more. Participation in our construction projects is a great way to reconnect with nature and help others at the same time.
