My favorite type of books to read are fiction, but I only like books that have very interesting and complex characters. My favorite book is The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. It's funny, well-written, and the character struggles with and questions a lot of things in his life and in society.

I also love reading about psychology, current events, and peoples' lives.

I am a high school English teacher--I love my students, I love teaching, and I love reading and writing!
