- About My Library
- I love Dark Wisdom's label of Dark Fiction. It has a much broader scope than horror, which can be very broad itself.
So to describe my library I would label it Dark Fiction. This can encompass everything from Clive Barker's BOOKS OF BLOOD to JANE EYRE. - About Me
- I'm the Reviews Editor at DARK WISDOM: The Magazine of Dark Fiction, editor William Jones. The reviews section is called the Dark Library. I also write a column, Whispers from the Librarian, about books and whatever amusing thoughts I want to share with the world. Amusing to me at least.
I'm currently working on a lengthy historical horror novel and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've also promised myself that I'm going to do something about my nonexistent short-story-writing career. For the past five years, I've been a member of the Horror Writers Association.
I teach middle school English, so don't cross me. You won't win. I also write for a local San Diego magazine, RANCH and COAST. My husband and I have Corvette fever, as he just went off to New York to buy our third one. No, neither writing nor teaching pay that well. We have no kids. - Location
- San Diego
