Inspired by the ancient Kingdom of Kush, the Bantu migration, the Sao civilization, and challenges and events surrounding the fall of Meroë, Of Captivity & Kings is the first installment in a historical fiction series capturing a myriad of characters involved in the luxury trade, the growing desert climate, religious persecution, and a rising slave trade in 4th Century Africa.
