About Me
Edward Bulkeley (1677 - 27 August 1748), son of Gershom Bulkeley, and the inheritor of a substantial portion of his father's books and manuscripts.

A captain in the militia, Bulkeley also sat as a justice for the peace for Hartford County (1714-1715 and 1744-1748), and represented Wethersfield at the General Court several times (1714-1716, 1721, 1724), along with many other local offices.

Bulkeley married Dorothy Prescott; the pair had several children.
