Small library of about 5000 volumes. I read and collect books about books, maps, Dutch East-India Company (VOC) and associated West-India Company (WIC), colonial history, naval history and history in general.

My other great love are private press publications and books published by the Folio Society in particular. Over the years I have accumulated over 1200 Folio books most of which I have purchased on the secondary market. Unfortunately adding a lot of books without ISBN numbers to LT is very time consuming to say the least and it may take me several years to complete that task.

I am a self employed computing scientist / mathematician mainly active in the financial service industry.

My main interests are history, astronomy, electronics and HAM radio.
