My library is ever changing but I always have hopes of scoring favorite books in hardback and signed editions. Things that I just can't afford right now. But every reader dreams of the library they would have if they could afford it. Of course I have books I haul with me every time I move to a new place. Boxes the boys I get to move things grumble about, books that serve as my "candles in the dark". Doesn't everyone have a few(lol)books that serve in different situations to be just the right thing to settle them down or lift there spirits. Sometimes a devotional, comedy of life or book of war and tactics. I have a few of each. They always seem to help in someway. I just have to find the right book, the characters or story that speaks to me at that moment. And sometimes I just need to get lost.

I live in South East Alaska on Revillagigedo Island in the town of Ketchikan. We have between 1,5000-8500 people who live here. One cruise ship in the summer can unload upwards of 1000 people and we sometimes get as many as 4-5 ships a day in the summer. So it gets pretty busy downtown. The scenery is truely beautiful....when it doesn't rain. So its no supprise I like fishing, camping (go by skiff to another island)target shooting in the summer and I love books. They do go everywhere with me. I sketch,photograph and dabble in painting and different media-arts. I do different beadwork projects and sell results to tourists during the summer.
