About My Library
I have a wide range of books from sci-fi/fantasy to popular chic-lit. I enjoy mysteries, thrillers (provided I can sleep), poetry, cookbooks (which I haven't placed in my library due to there being so many in our home), travel, fictional histories, spirituality and more.

My new goal (8/2011) is to try and review each book I read whether I think it's good, bad or indifferent. I will at least put up stars according to my rating system below.

My rating system:

5 stars: means absolutely wonderful, perfect, couldn't ever put it down or part with it. It must remain in my library even if I don't pick it up again.

4 stars: I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found it thought provoking. I will want to keep it in my library and read it again.

3.5 stars: It was a good read and fun story line, not much thought involved but enjoyable. It will probably be re-read.

3 stars: Its an okay book. I may have enjoyed reading it but not something I couldn't part with, more like something I'd get from the library and return. It would collect dust on my bookshelves at home. Something that I could put up on book mooch.

2 stars: I did not enoy the book. Writing was not very good. Something I definitely will place on book mooch.

1 stars: Absolutely horrible book, badly written, hard to follow, it just didn't jive with me. Not sure it's worth mooching because I don't want anyone else to share the same experience I had.
About Me
I'm a CA native living in MN on a small farm with my husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 20 chickens. I enjoy literature of all kinds, knitting, scrapbooking (with cold winters you must have a long list of indoor activities), and spending time in the great outdoors as weather allows (and my wimpy CA blood doesn't complain).
