Aside from Life Beyond Borders, the company's first release, (my husband's the author), I adore J. California Cooper books. I have all of them. I also have books by Edwidge Danticat who makes my heart smile everytime I think of her. Between my husband and I, we have over 1,000 books in our collection.

I am an Independent Publisher. Forward Press is the name of the Publishing company. I chose the name because the first book I published (and the only one so far) encourages people to give life a shot. Press forward toward your goals rather than just watch them go by saying, "I should have." The company's name reminds me to put one foot in front of the other and try- small step, big step, any step forward towards my goal, whatever that goal may be.
