The GLBT Resource Center maintains a free lending library of fiction and nonfiction books about Diversity, Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, History, Politics, Health, Coming Out, Law, Oppression, Art, Sociology, Psychology, Religion, Queer Theory, Relationships, and more. Our library is always growing, and we welcome donations of books and other resources!

We are open M-F from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. when school is in session and M-Th from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. during breaks.

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) Resource Center at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is a centrally located, safe campus space that provides educational outreach, referral information and advocacy services, adding to an inclusive and diverse environment for GLBT students, faculty, staff, families, friends, alumni, and the greater Southern Illinois Community.
