The libraries of Gilbert and Elizabeth Crackbone are documented in their joint probate inventory, taken 30 January 1672, which includes "an old Bible" valued at 5 shillings; "a psalm book & Sound Believer" valued at £0/2/6; and "three little books" valued at 6 pence, as well as "2 pair of spectacles and case."
In an appended list of "the particular moveables widow Crackbone brought with her at her marriage" are "two Bibles 2 books" valued at 14 shillings.Questions? Comments? Concerns?
