I began reviewing books by reviewing adult horror novels. But since 2011, my tastes and interests have changed somewhat. I now prefer to review middle grade fiction. I suppose my favorite books would be middle grade ghost stories.

Edward J. Gordon is an author and literary critic and current president of the Middle Grade Writers Association. He graduated from Regents College, NY, in 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts where he studied literary interpretation and criticism. He is the owner of Black Spirit Publishing and lives on the outskirts of New Orleans with his wife and their three dogs and one black cat.
