- About My Library
- Welcome to the local library of St Gregory of Nyssa Orthodox Church in Columbus, Ohio. We hope you will visit us soon and enjoy our fine collection of reading materials.
Anyone who desires to learn is welcome in our library during our normal library hours or as arranged by one of our priests. - About Me
- St. Gregory of Nyssa Library
The Library Committee has been working to build a strong respectable Orthodox library for our parish use and for the higher education community.
We now have approximately 1,000 volumes with a goal of 3,000+ volumes. Our emphasis is on the Orthodox faith, but materials on other Christian traditions and other religions will be accepted, if appropriate.
Donations are welcome.
Remember that the materials you donate will be right here if you need to look at them again. Please bring these materials to church and let me know about them. If you need materials picked up, we will make arrangements. If you live outside of the Columbus area, we are willing to reimburse shipping costs for your donations.
Special thanks to Charles and his willing neighborhood workers who have already put in additional shelves after we filled the first ones they built for us.
We will continue to develop the library to fill a need not only for our parish but also for students and others wishing to do research. - Location
