I love antique books, vintage paperbacks, anything old and odd. I own far less books bought new than I do second-hand treasures. I like to read Victorian melodramas, Edwardian novels, Golden Age mysteries, 19th and early 20th Century literary fiction; generally speaking, my nonfiction interest lies in Britain, in the vast expanse of the centuries from the Georgian Era until the end of World War I.
