The books owned by James Nevison of Charles County, Maryland are documented in the probate inventory of his estate, taken 30 November 1759 and recorded 11 June 1760. The books are valued at £4/11 out of a total estate valued at £780/2/9 and 3/4 pence. Along with the books, the inventory also includes "1 large map of Scotland" valued at £1/10.
