About meI wish I had started this with the first book I EVER read. Since I only found LibraryThing in mid 2008, this is nowhere near a complete library! I just can't remember all the books that I've read. I also wish that I had kept EVERY book that I ever read. I would love to see them all on a shelf. I love to read! Too many books and WAY too little time!

About my libraryI only gave 5 stars to books I loved and 1 star to books I hated! I find it difficult to fairly rate a book. Everyone has different reasons for loving or disliking a book and books mean such different things to people depending on what's going on in their lives. I think it is important to remember the time and effort that the author gives towards our enjoyment of reading the final copy.

I don't usually write a synopsis or a "spoiler" in my reviews, but rather focus on my feelings during and after reading the book. If anyone wants a true synopsis, they are easy to find.

I love to read and I love variety. I love to hold a book, feel the cover, the pages and the smell of a new book. That said.... I do not like mushy romance novels, extreme violence or too much foul language and CAN NOT read about Animals because I just love them too much!

I love books!!!!!!!! It is my only splurge!
