About My Library

I'll read just about anything except romance novels. My favorite subjects are Greek and Roman history, classic literature, historical fiction, poetry, Shakespeare, some science fiction. I've got about 1,500 books, my latest pursuit has been trying to get older versions of classics... like from the Everyman Library, etc. My prize possession is an 1854 set of Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the the Roman Empire.

About Me

I'm 54, have three boys and an awesome wife. I went to NCSU with a degree english literature. Now I lead a health care foundation that raises money for our community hospital. My office is in an historic home that has an awesome library where I keep my collection.
