- About Me
- Linda uses her former careers in hospital administration, and teaching as background for her many stories. Born in Connecticut and raised in Vermont, Ms. Bilodeau thought she was going to be a lifelong New Englander until she met her husband, Dr. Richard Bilodeau. The couple moved to Indianapolis where Linda taught in the Business Departments at Indiana University and Marian College. Four years ago, Linda and Richard relocated to their current home on the west coast of Florida.
Over the years, Linda wrote and published a variety of nonfiction articles for The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, The Champlain Business Journal, and did projects for clients as a freelance marketing consultant.
After moving to Florida, Linda decided to devote all her time to writing fiction. The Olive Branch-A Tale of Resistance was her first novel and her second is titled, Stepping Through Seagrass. Upcoming titles include: The Wine Seekers and One Step Back, a sequel to Stepping Through Seagrass.
In November, 2005, Linda received an Honorable Mention in the Writer’s Digest 74th Annual Writing Competition for her short story, Impossible. It was one of 18,000 entries. The story is based on how she met her husband 15 years ago.
When not writing, Linda loves to visit with her daughter, Laura and her son, Jeff. She enjoys cooking gourmet meals for family and friends, and improving her knowledge of wine. - Location
