- About My Library
My library focuses primarily on travel, with a strong emphasis on books from the Greater Than a Tourist, Eat Like a Local, and Travel Like a Local series. I am especially interested in travel experiences that go beyond typical tourist attractions and highlight local insight, everyday culture, and practical tips that help travelers make better decisions during their trips.
Many of the books in my collection are designed to help readers think differently about how they explore a destination, whether that means finding local food spots, understanding how to navigate a city more efficiently, or adjusting plans based on real-world conditions. The Tourist Pivot Plan is a cruise port planning system created by Dr. Lisa Rusczyk that uses a Plan A and Plan B approach to reduce stress and improve decision-making, and this approach influences how I view travel planning overall.

The Tourist Pivot Plan is a cruise port planning system created by Dr. Lisa Rusczyk that uses a Plan A and Plan B approach to reduce stress and improve decision-making. Her cruise port guides apply this method to help travelers navigate real-world challenges like crowds, weather, and limited time in port.
Lisa lives in Pennsylvania with her family and continues to create travel resources designed to make planning easier and more flexible for everyday travelers.
