Hello Readers!

I was born and raised in a small town in North Carolina. My pen name is Loren Mathis. I am a law school graduate and a UNC grad (Go Heels!). I am the youngest of five children. I have always enjoyed reading mysteries and writing, and I am now following my dream as an author. I became interested in writing novels involving military heroes because I have an affinity for Alpha males and military guys are some of the toughest Alpha males that you can find. I also have friends and family who have served in the Army and Special Forces, and I appreciate the huge sacrifices that our men and women in the armed forces make in their service.
